¿Preparados para el Tsunami? premieres at the Instituto de Ciencias del Mar (ICM) – CSIC in Barcelona

¿Preparados para el tsunami? (Ready for the Tsunami?) broadcasts Tuesday, December 19th, at 23:00 on Movistar+ (pay TV for Spain).

This one-hour science and technology documentary explains what causes large earthquakes and tsunamis in Southwest Europe, uncovers new historical evidence revealing their frequency, and explores world innovations that can keep us safe. We will set up the risks with science and history, with facts, and offer solutions with inventive new technologies.

The documentary first premiered at the Instituto de Ciencias del Mar (ICM) – CSIC in Barcelona. Valentí Sallarés, director of the ICM started the event by giving a powerful speech in honor of science and natural disaster awareness. We are grateful for ICM – CSIC’s support of the documentary throughout its production.
